that Mary Bedent sailed from S taines, England, to Massachetts
[probably Cambridge] with sons Morgan born 165 4; Thomas, born
1654; and John and Mordecai. Thomas married Mary and moved t o
Fairfield, Conn, died 1698. They all came to Hadley, Mass., to
claim an es tate devised to them by their mother's brother, John
Bernard. Thomas died int estate at Wstchester, Co.., and his
wife Mary was his administratrix. Mary wa s the widow of Thomas
Bedient. Mary had a sister, Abigal.
