patriot index, page 28. He is said to have been a captain of
2nd Battalion, Somerest County Militia, New Jersey and 1st
Major of same. He lived in Morris County, N.J. but moved to
Pa. and settled in Dunstable township, Northumberland, now
Clinton County, wh ere he bought 218 acres of wild land in 1785.
It is supposed his wife Tabith a, died in N.J. Buried in
Dunnstown, Clinton, Pennsylvania. [Source: Ted Cl aud Baird,
