27, 1699, while the "The Baird Family of Tope nenus, New
Jersey", by Peter Foreman and David Perrine, show John born on
Feb ruary 6, 1707. John had a plantation in Lower Freehold
Township, Monmouth co unty, N.J. The will of John Baird, Jr.,
dated February 5, 1747-8, probated Jul y 5, 1749, and recorded
in Book E of Wills, page 310, in the State of Archive s at
Trenton, N.J., names his sons Andrew and Zebulon, his wife, and
Peter Bowne executors of the will. He left his estate in
Monmonth County, New Jers ey, to his wife, Avis. He is buried
in the old Topenemus yard, N.J.
John married Avis Browne in 1726 in Topenemus, Monmouth Co., New Jersey. (Avis Browne was born in 1701 in Topenemus, Monmouth Co., New Jersey and died on 6 Feb 1760 in Hunterdon, NJ.)
