Notes from Gedcom: William his eldest son, also came with him, having been married to Nancy Cullen in 1801. She was the daughter of John Cullen, and was born in Caroline Co., Virginia in 1781. In 1786 he father emigrated to Kentucky , settling at Bryant's Station. William Hartman was the father of thirteen children: Fanny born 15 Jan 1802; ; Mary 17 Feb 1803; Nancy 20 July 1804; Sarah, 10 May 1806; Rachel 22 Jun 1808; Elizabeth 16 dec 1810; Lucy and Catharine, 1 Jan 1811; Eliza 10 Jan 1813; William 22 Apr 1815; Jane 4 Oct 1818; Edmund J. 3 Oct 1820; and James 25 May 1823.
William Hartman died 8 May 1858, his wife 15 Dec 1857.
Think he served in the war of 1812.

1837 William Hartman paid a personal tax in Jackson Twp, Clermont Co, Ohio.
1850 William (age 72, born NJ) and Nancy (age 69, born Virginia) Hartman lived in Jackson Twp, Clermont Co, Ohio with Nancy (age 41), Elizabeth (age 38), James (age 30), Edmund (age 29), James (age 27) and Sarah (age 24) were married, and Rachel Hutchinson (age 13, likely grand-daughter, daughter of Rachel). All the children were born in Ohio. William was a farmer with estate valued at $3000. Living next door were Margaret (age 28, born DC), Eliza (age 4), and Mary (age 1) Hutchinson.
1858 William's estate was listed in Clermont County Book A. I-370 and W.H-307
1857-58 William and Nancy were buried under one headstone in the Hartman Cemetery in Clermont Co, Ohio. The headstone might indicate that William was a veteran of the War of 1812.
The undocumented notes for many of the children came from a rootsweb site that had contradictory dates for their deaths and marrriages, so some of the reported facts could be wrong.
